My Journey — From Heartbreak to Healing
I started trying to conceive at 35. At first, I wasn’t worried — I had a few medical delays, but I always believed I had time. When nothing happened, I began taking it seriously: the supplements, the research, the tests, the lifestyle changes.
Within three months, I was pregnant. It was Christmas 2022, and it felt like the best gift imaginable. But on New Year’s Day, I woke up and didn’t feel pregnant anymore. Two days later, I started to bleed.
A trip to A&E confirmed a twin blighted ovum — something that affects one in four pregnancies. I told myself it was common, that I’d be okay, and we tried again right away.
A month later, I was pregnant again. This time, we saw a heartbeat at seven weeks — a flicker of hope. But by ten weeks, I started to bleed once more. It was Easter, and the NHS couldn’t scan me for days, so we went privately.
Those words — “I’m sorry, there’s no heartbeat” — will stay with me forever.
After a D&C, I requested testing, but no answers came. Over the months that followed, I went on a wild and painful ride of fertility treatments, protocols, diets, and supplements — and endured three more losses along the way. Each one broke me open a little more, but also brought me closer to understanding what my body and soul truly needed.
Where Science Meets Spirit
When our beautiful rainbow arrived in 2025, I realised that it wasn’t just the medical support that made it possible — it was harmony.
A perfect flow between science and spirit, between body and soul, between knowing and trusting.
I had finally learned that fertility isn’t only physical — it’s energetic, emotional, and deeply intuitive. When I learned to align my body with my natural cycle and the rhythm of the moon, everything shifted.
When my baby was eight months old, I returned to those same practices — and conceived again within one month.
Why I Created Bloom with the Moon
This blog was born from that experience — from years of trial, error, loss, and awakening.
It’s my way of sharing everything I’ve learned along the way — both medical and spiritual — so that you don’t have to piece it all together yourself.
Here, you’ll find guidance rooted in both science and soul:
- Evidence-based fertility insights
- Moon phase rituals and cycle syncing
- Mind-body tools for conception and calm
- Honest stories and hope
Because when you’re walking through infertility, you shouldn’t have to walk in the dark.
Bloom with the Moon is your light — a gentle guide back to balance, hope, and your own inner wisdom.
